Horizontal Radiators

Horizontal radiators are the bread and butter of heating your property. The horizontal radiator brings great designs and subtlety to your property, ensuring that your walls are not naked, and that heat is distributed across your interior spaces as evenly as possible.

Modern & Traditional Horizontal Radiators At Low Prices And Free UK Delivery On Selected Items

Horizontal radiators are some of the most popular on the market, they come in an array of designs and sizes from traditional column radiators to flat panel horizontal radiators for a more sleek and modern aesthetic.

These long radiators are fantastic for installing beneath your window as they counter cold air that pours through, the heat then rises providing warm airflow in the room. Due to their vast range of size options, it’s not hard to find a horizontal radiator that will fit in your interior.

What Are The Most Efficient Radiators?

We have a wide choice of radiators in a range of materials, so the most common question we receive is which is most efficient. This will depend on the room you place your radiator in and how you would want to use it.

  • Aluminium radiators have rapid bursts of heat to warm your space quickly and a fast cool down. They are lightweight, have a range of designs and sizes and are low in price.
  • Stainless steel radiators are great for longevity. They feature high heat outputs and are hardy with longer warranties. The material is corrosion, rust and peel resistant and its available with various finish options, along with this stainless steel radiators are easy to maintain.
  • Cast iron radiators heat up slowly and evenly, and feature amazing heat retention so once you turn the cast iron radiator off, they can keep their warmth for hours after. They are incredibly durable and can be finished with premium colours for a unique look, but these can be on the heavy side so we recommend securing the radiator to the wall with our wall stays.

What Size Radiator Will I Need?

Depending on the size of the room you are looking to heat will depend on the size of radiator you need. To work out the BTU required for your space use our free BTU calculator, this calculates the BTU needed and filters down the most efficient radiators for your space.

Do I Need Radiator Valves With My Radiator?

Angled Valves - For when pipes are coming from the floor and the radiator as side connections.
Straight Valves - For when the pipes are coming from the floor and the radiator as underneath connections.
Corner Valves - For when your pipework is coming from the wall and the radiator has either side or underneath connections.
