Eskimo Finishes

RAL Colour/Colour Match

Choose a great custom finish for your Eskimo radiators

Sometimes you want your radiators to blend with your scheme, if you have details of the colour you require or can send your colour swatches, we can match it as closely as possible. This is where our colour match service ticks all of the boxes; we have a colour matching service where we have the facility to match almost every colour available. This includes the ever-popular RAL colour ranges as well as various from designer paint companies such as Farrow & Ball or Little Greene. A high-performance radiator, powder-coated to match your paintwork.

We can offer a colour match chip sign off service at a small additional cost. Please get in touch using the live chat below, call us on 01772 346933 or use our contact form.

Metallic Colours

Compost, Fopp and Maggie are three subtly 'sparkly / metallic' colour finishes. We selected them as an alternative to RAL colours where applicable – because of their sheer beauty when applied to any of our forms of radiators.

On curves, they present stunning light and shade, highlighting the 'glisten' of this strong powder-coated finish. On our flat-panel Outline radiators, the colour sits beautifully between the clean lines of the front fascia and side depths. Never flat and just a little more opulent and interesting than a RAL or colour match, due to the depth that these colours seem to proffer.

Gong

Panel radiators are now everywhere. But there is nothing more pleasing than the simplicity and clean lines of our original gong radiators in our Outline range. A modular aluminium output radiator with a clean lined front fascia. Eskimo offer some transformational finishes, one of which is Gong; A choice of four stunning hand-patinated brass or copper finishes. Rich tones, unique and incredibly tactile.

Your Gong will be close to the colour and tone that you see in the pictures. However, the patination (pattern) can vary from a very subtle ‘speckles’ to more fluid ‘swirls’. Each Gong radiator is absolutely unique.

Cliff

Real Stone Finishes

Our Outline Cliff radiators are an exquisite natural stone radiator collection, inspired by the dramatic British coastline. Outline Cliff is a high performance modular aluminium radiator. With a clean lined front fascia of natural stone veneer.

Cliff is not for the control freaks out there. The nature of this collection means that you have to get back to nature a little bit and let Eskimo help you to let go. Cliff is as natural as it's namesake (of the vertical rock wall variety rather than the Richards version). The geological production process that made Cliff so gorgeous took millennia to complete so don't expect precision in this finish. If that is what you need then Cliff is not for you.

Baron Stone

Baron Stone - Real Stone Finishes

The Baron Stone real stone veneer is a lighter 'Desert' stone colour spectrum. Mainly warm with hints of sandstone and rock formation greys and browns. With the widest potential variation and colour palette; this finish is not for the faint-hearted. Whatever you end up with will be glorious but don't go for Baron Stone unless you love a bit of drama.

Earthy Pit

Earthy Pit - Real Stone Finishes

Earthy Pit real stone veneer offers a palette of organic soil/earthy colour palette with hints of dark brown, anthracite greys and green hues.

Rock Hudson

Rock Hudson - Real Stone Finishes

The Rock Hudson real stone veneer is a warmer colour palette, 'dusky pink' in colour. This finish is not for the faint hearted. Whatever you end up with will be glorious but don't go for Rock Hudson unless you love a bit of drama and you like a bit of pink.

Concrete

Outline offer some transformational finishes, one of which is our Concrete radiator. A high performance radiator with a stunning, real concrete veneer. Beautifully finished and selected for contemporary living. Urban, tactile and utterly alluring.

The nature of this man made, urban finish, means that it's pretty consistent in surface finish but an occasional beautiful and exciting 'pit' or 'pock' can appear across your finish too. There's no controlling this, so don't expect precision in this finish. If that is what you need then Concrete is not for you.

Woody

A wooden and bamboo radiator range! That wouldn't work, would it? According to our tests, yes it would. Even in wood unfriendly environments like bathrooms!

Woody offers several incredibly beautiful veneers.

One of reasons for using wood is that you get a very nice and even gentle spread of temperature with no hot spots, even when the radiator 'engine' itself is delivering high heat output.

True, wood is a great insulator (it has low thermal conductivity), but Eskimo have worked out how to combine the unique aesthetic properties of wood with the thermal performance of aluminium, based on the tried and tested technology we've been continuously perfecting for 10 years with our Outline range of radiators.

Bamboo

A high performance radiator with a stunning Scandi looking finish.

Bamboo replenishes itself quickly. It is a grass with wood-like characteristics, growing up to 1 metre per day in tropical regions, making it the fastest growing plant on earth.

Every year the parent bamboo plant develops new stems. These new stems can be harvested after 5 years in a mature plantation without decreasing the size of the forest. Regular harvesting actually improves the growth of the bamboo.

The supplier that we work with opts for an environmentally friendly approach in the processing of bamboo strips for our radiator veneers. If required, 100% formaldehyde free glue is used and meet the requirements set out in the European standard E1 norm.

Over the years, FSC has become an important international standard. Bamboo is not a wood, it is a grass. And to produce bamboo products no deforestation is necessary or even possible: only the 5-6 years old plants are harvested.

However, a lot of building contracts required FSC only materials. So in 2004 FSC has allowed bamboo into their system.

Pandas live in the mountain ranges of central China and forage where the shorter species of bamboo are more accessible. The taller bamboo species has no leaf growth on the first metre of the stem, and is therefore not a food source for the panda.

Pop-Art

At Eskimo we're known for our stunning finishes and our radiators are often referred to as pieces of functional art or art radiators, because our hidden valve mechanism allows a finish to hang uninterrupted.

So we thought, how about we take that nice reference as our first point of design? But even with some of our most exciting finishes i.e Gong, Rusty or Supermirror, their presence can still be quiet, blending beautifully with the interior styling cues that surround the radiators.

So we thought, why don't we get a little loud on this occasion? The danger with designing a technologically robust radiator as a 'piece of art' though, is that you could take this literally and create something terribly tacky, diluting the point of innovation and, importantly, ending up with something that is just a little short of originality.

Art Radiators

So with our 'arty farty' jaunty hats on, just as Warhol collaborated with Basquiat and Pollock collaborated with Beaton – Eskimo collaborated with Mirrl.
