Our Key Colours & Finishes

Compliment the customer's colour schemes – and introduce the custom and alternative finishes which are now available on many radiators. A custom RAL colour finish, for example, would allow your customer to match their radiator directly to their chosen colour palette, not to mention the textures, wood effects and stone inclusions all available across the Ultraheat range.

Alternatively, a metallic finish can coordinate with other properties in the space, such as light fixtures or picture frames.

RAL Classic is a universal colour matching system that defines colours for paint and coatings. This standardises a range of around 200 colours to guarantee uniformity.

Radiators available in RAL colours have the option within the finish drop-down on their respective page, choosing this will show a text box allowing you to type in your desired colour.

Anodisation is an electrochemical manufacturing process, that converts the surface layer of the aluminium into an anodic oxide, by passing an electrical charge through the material while it is immersed in an acid electrolyte bath.

Our stock of standard white finishes includes RAL 9016, a bright white designed to complement any bathroom and RAL 9010, a softer pure white intended to complement the light in other rooms. These aluminium white finishes come in high gloss as standard. Additional finishes such as matt and semi-gloss are available as a special order.

Brushed PVD Finishes

Ultraheat recommend opting for PVD finish where possible. Standing for Physical Vapor Deposition, also known as thin-film coating, is a specialist manufacturing technique where the coating is vaporized and depositied atom by atom onto the steel surface forming a bonded metal surface layer.

In order to achieve a PVD finish, the coating process has to take place in a vacuum with specialist tooling and equipment, due to this process the available customisation of colour is more limited. Ultraheat focus on pre-defined colours rather than offering 'any RAL Colour', the end result is a highly durable, beautiful even finish that functions as part of the radiator itself; it endures as the original stainless steel radiator would.

Two distinct styles of PVD Finishes, first is the Brushed Matt PVD finishes, available in Gold, Black, Bronze, Antique Bronze, Copper and Rose Gold.
